Christmas

We spent Christmas back at the Sunset Beach Hotel where we met up with Sarah Grimm's wonderful family. We watched Fula acrobat dancers on Christmas Eve and Sarah's brother and sister joined the fun.

The Gambians tried to decorate for Christmas. But when you're in a Muslim country and it's 90 degrees, somehow it just isn't the same. Most Christmas trees were oddly decorated, but this one IMHO took the prize for the most creative: Bottles hung from pipes with garland in each bottle.

We had Christmas dinner with several other PCV's and some visiting families.
