The Gambia and Cape Verde

These are the photos from when I visited M'Linda in The Gambia.

We spent the first day in the Kombo region at the Sunset Beach Hotel. Then we traveled up country to her site. I spent 4 nights there after which we returned to the Sunset Hotel. After spending Christmas in the Kombo region, we traveled up to Cape Verde islands for a week.

The whole trip was amazing. I found the people to be wonderful and friendly (except for the pesky 'bumsters' in The Gambia). M'Linda's family is soooo nice -- she really is lucky.

Cape Verde is beautiful and well worth a visit.

The best part, of course, was to see firsthand a little bit of what M'Linda is experiencing.
